For practices UAE e-invoicing lands on your client book in 2027. The date that matters is 31 March.

Written for accounting practices rather than for one finance team. Businesses under AED 50m must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 31 March 2027 and be live on 1 July. Most coverage quotes the July date; March is the one that constrains a book of forty clients, and the clients with no accounting system at all are the whole problem.

Updated rules UAE Small Business Relief has been extended to 31 December 2029. What that changes, and what it does not.

Ministerial Decision No. 131, issued on 7 August 2026, gives small businesses three more years at zero corporate tax and keeps the AED 3m threshold. You still have to file, the relief is still an election you can miss, and the prior-period test that disqualifies you permanently now spans twice as many years.
